The challenge
The customer’s challenge is to establish Microsoft Power BI in the cloud and, building on this, to implement sustainable and technically optimized data solutions in sales controlling. The aim is to promote data democratization through a development model based in the specialist area and thus enable data-driven decisions to be made on a daily basis.
My solution
In my role as requirements engineer, I worked with the customer in workshops and interviews to identify the goals and requirements for a department-driven development (self-service BI) of standard reports, ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
As an expert in BI and data analytics, I developed a guide that enables the customer to implement sustainable data solutions in their Power BI Cloud environment. This is based on best practices and customized development instructions that are specifically designed to meet the customer’s individual requirements and objectives.
